12 Zucchini Flowers or Squash Blossoms
1/3 cup flour
1/3 cup water
salt and pepper
oil for frying
1. Clean each blossoms in water and completely dry. If flowers are already closed, open them slightly to take off the stamen.
2. Combine, egg, flour and water in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Beat and mix well.
3. Heat up oil in pan. Dip each blossom in the batter and place in hot oil. Cook till slightly brown and crispy. Drain excess oil in a dish lined with paper towel.
4. Transfer to a plate. Serve hot.
